Costume Info

2 man pantomime costumes information:

These costumes are designed to be worn by adults.

They consist of 4 pieces - 2 pairs of tousers, the main body, which is draped over the person standing at the back & with a hole for the person at the front to pop their head out, and a head.

The person at the front sees out either via the eyes or the forehead of the costume head.
Consequently, visibility is limited.

The person at the front stands up whilst the person behind bends over (except in out camel outfit where both stand up). Hence the person at the back of the pantomime horse/cow does geta bit of a bum deal!

They are designed to fit most adults up to a maximum height 6ft 2 inches & 48 inch chest.
Shorter adults (under 5ft 5 inches) will find that the trousers will have to be pulled up but otherwise the body & head will normally be fine.
In fact, the trousers have elasticated waists to they can be worn by a multitude of folk.

Mascot costumes are are made from man made acrylic which gives a soft fur feel.
Manufactured without any hard elements which helps to avoid injury and also assists with storage.
Gaps at bottom of trousers allow user to wear their own shoes.
The total weight of the costume is about 7kg (14 lbs).

All our pantomime costumes (whether to purchase or hire) are manufactured here in England, so no waiting for a container to arrive from the other side of the world!

Our mascots can be dry cleaned or washed at 30 degrees. Do not use bleach. Line Dry. Brush after drying to re-create best effect.

What safety advise should I bear in mind when wearing 2 man costumes?

This list is based upon our experiences and simple, common sense. It is a guide only.

Do not wear costume near fires or naked flames.
They should only be worn by adults.
Costumes should be used in a sensible & responsible manner. Care should especially be taken when climbing/ descending stairs etc or negotiating obstacles.
We suggest that head on mascots should only be worn for a maximum of 15 minutes & then removed for a break.
We also suggest that any one wearing  costumes should regularly re-hydrate themselves.

Hope that helps. Do you want to go back to the home page?
